Frames for Your Face Shape - OPTICAL 5

Usually people's face can be roughly divided into: oval, round, square, heart and diamond five categories, through the judgment of the face shape you can find more suitable for your glasses style, but if you decide to continue reading, please note that the following content only refers to our little advice, the most important thing is to follow your heart, choose what you think is the best looking or most suitable for you is what you should do.

oval face

People with oval faces fit with most frame shapes. A face with an oval shape features higher and slightly wider cheekbones that are slightly narrower towards the forehead. This long, rounded face shape allows you to pull off almost any style — especially oversized and wide frames.

Round face

If you want to casual collocation can choose irregular shape, round face face lacks contour sense, irregular frame shape will make the facial features more three-dimensional!To match a formal point, you can choose a pure square frame, so that the eyebrows and glasses flush, will give people a sense of decency, looks capable spirit!

square face

generally recommended for the casual round frame, square face cheekbones are generally higher, the face curve is too obvious, people inexplicably will produce a sense of seriousness, so the round frame can modify the face curve, so that the curve is too obvious soft!Of course, the polygon frame can also be selected, the polygon will essentially have a little circular curve, so that the face is folded a little! It will not make people feel too formal and restrained!

Heart-shaped face

referred to as the universal face, any shape of the frame can be matched, to formally choose the box, casual choose the round box! The only thing to pay attention to is that the box type is generally recommended to choose a little bit larger. The frame type is large in comparison with the face shape will show the face is very small.

diamond face

The best look for a diamond face shape is a rimless or oval frame with a strong browline. These shapes will help balance your face and highlight your favorite attributes. Play up your unique features with fun and funky frames — like a horn rim or cat-eye style — but keep them delicate to prevent them from over accentuating bold characteristics.

How to determine your face shape

1. Stand in front of a mirror.

Any large, fixed mirror will do. You should be able to approach the mirror easily from the mirror, and you don't need to lean forward when looking in the mirror.Look in the mirror with your back straight, head up, shoulders outstretched. If you have bangs, pin them aside. The light should be from the top down, not from other directions, the light will affect the way you draw.

2. Outline your face.

Using lipstick, soap, chalk, dry-erase markers, or some other non-permanent sketching tool, carefully outline your face on the mirror. Start at the bottom of your chin, past one side of your face to your cheekbones, while drawing the curves of your hair, then to the other side of your face, and eventually back to your chin. Be as still as possible as you draw.No need to include your ears, just the outline of your face will do.

3. Determine the outline of your face.

Step back and look at the outline drawn. Where is the widest point? Is it tall or short? What shape is your chin and forehead? Based on the answers to these questions, your face "should" fall into one of the following categories:

Square:

Your outline is not too high but wide everywhere, with a broad forehead, prominent cheekbones, and an angular chin

Round:

If your outline resembles a round shape, with broad cheekbones but a pointed chin and forehead, you may have a round face.

Oval:

slightly wider forehead, narrower cheekbones and tapered chin.

Heart shape:

This type of face is characterized by a broad forehead, prominent cheekbones, and a small chin.

Diamond Shape:

Diamonds differ from round or oval faces, with cheekbones significantly wider than the chin and forehead.
